@bryan Did not see her splat, but I think I heard it at the end. The levels of stupidity by everyone involved is staggering. I’d assume I’m fired at that point and just hop in my car and drive to a non-extradition country and start my new life on the lam.

I read they all stood around and got arrested. My gut tells me pretty much nothing will happen.

@bryan It’s Brazil. There’s no law down there. Bungee jumping in Brazil is straight from a Super Dave Osborne skit as far as expected outcomes! These guys weren’t licensed or anything of that nature. There will be no adequate justice.

The “no law down there” also means these kids might be sent away for a long time because the world saw this. Not because they were careless and killed somebody.

@bryan It’s almost like there’s consequences! Almost. Let’s see. *Someone* should do time for this. Imagine telling the parents of the girl who got launched that they’re gonna let the others go because it was just a mistake. In Brazil.

@bryan I need to sit down. I am completely shocked that Brazillian authorities don’t know what to do here. They usually just shoot you dead, whiff a bump then hop back on the bike. 🤣
