I'm not exactly when inflection point has happened (maybe during the switch from the early music and video generation models that just did diffusion to ones that write code that then turns into music and video?), but some of this #slopcore is starting to like ... actually be kind of fun esp. hyperspecific stuff like this

One of the bummers about not having a shuttle replacement. The boosts into higher orbits have always been the shuttle pulling it into the bay, performing upgrades, boosting to higher orbit, and redeploying.

Steve Jobs’ comment was made 10+ years ago. Lots of things have changed. The iPad-generation kids use touch screens since they’re born. Students nowadays use iPads with keyboard cases. So the newer generations have gotten used to it.

Thankful #Apple released a M5 Ultra Mac Studio with 512GB memory option. I’m not buying one but now I can put one together online, fantasize about having one, then just close the tab. I’ve previously been restricted to website lusting fantasies with Zillow, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari.

I haven’t been to Carl’s Jr. in, what… 2–3 years? Maybe longer. But suddenly I’m craving a Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Right now, it sounds like a fantastic idea, but I know damn well that if I actually go through with it, I’ll immediately regret my decision and swear off Carl’s Jr. again… at least until I forget how much I regretted it the last time.
On Friday (Oct 23) my #eero router got an update to fix the “4” cert nonsense. How quickly did everyone else’s Wi-Fi routers get updated? 🤔
Also, many D-Link & Netgear use php. RaspAP is php and pfSense also…
