For those who might not know, HarmonyOS is Huawei's new non-Linux OS. Think iOS, China edition. The UX is really great so far, and it's miles and miles ahead in "smoothness" compared to what any Android phone today feels like (and I'm on a low-end device, the Nova 15, which sells for ~$400 US in the mainland right now). I might even say it feels a little more fluent than an iPhone!

I have a 30min goal of exercise per day. I just walk on treadmill or in a loop at apartment while listening to a podcast.

Today, I somehow registered 4min of exercise already on the #AppleWatch doing very little. So only 26min is needed… :kirby_happy:

“For months, callers to the Washington state Department of Licensing who have requested automated service in Spanish have instead heard an AI voice speaking English in a strong Spanish accent. The agency has since apologized and says it’s trying to fix the problem.”

You learn so much about a system from it! For example, TIL you can deploy a systemd-sysupdate repo quite easily and then pull from that repo from a second workstation. Now when you make a change to any part of say GNOME OS, you can build it on system one, and just `updatectl update` on the second system and it will fetch it P2P. I know I can set up stuff like an APT mirror or use a custom A/B update system with Buildroot, but this is so much easier and foolproof!
