back to top@bryan As a European I've got no idea what a Costco is and so I'm missing the joke... do you mind explaining it 😁
@graves501
Costco is in Europe but just starting, I guess. Basically, they are massive warehouses of household products, meat, food, etc. They have food courts which are localized to the country they are in except for the hotdog. It’s a huge hotdog and a soda for $1.50. That price is equivalent pretty much everywhere. The joke is basically that executive membership is the tier where you get 2% cashback (in the US anyway). This is making fun of the fact that a warehouse would have something nice when the reality is just them keeping the onions in stock at the Costco food court would be nice… 😊
“There are 29 Costcos in the United Kingdom, five in Spain, and only two in France. Countries with just one lone Costco location include Sweden, Iceland, and New Zealand. Despite that, Australia has 15 warehouses.”

@bryan I mean I can relate to the hot dog + onion situation - it's very similar to the IKEA food courts 😂Also interesting that France and Spain would've a Costco, but none of the German speaking countries 🤔
@bryan
Bryan, that looks AI drawn to me. I go to the Issaquah Costco across from corporate & that's new to me.
They do have a new check out area where pre scanned members can pay quickly...
:)
Also, :( , I heard that non licensed workers in the hearing aid centers & eye care are going to loose their positions shortly.
Found this out when I literally could not return some Jabra hearing aids bc no-one was trained to perform a hearing aid product return. This is Issaquah, just saying again. :) This was my 1st EVER time that Costco delayed a return. I've shopped at Costco since the 1980's.
