Sad and funny at the same time. Dude needed hard-disks in UK so he flies to New York to buy drives and fly back because it's so much cheaper in US vs UK. #Reddit #datahoarder

Someone needs to add #DeltaChat channel support in #OpenClaw. I think it would be a great fit for getting more DeltaChat users. Although maybe the wrong kind?
Here is an issue. I think they accept merges for basically anything… so…

i built an entire x86 CPU emulator in CSS (no javascript)
you can write programs in C, compile them to x86 machine code with GCC, and run them inside CSS
I don’t like #hockey, but as a fan of #reddit r/prematurecelebration, I totally enjoy these Canadian YouTube and Instagram channels just completely trash-talking and then posting their reactions to the game where they lost to the US. It’s so satisfying, and I also don’t even care about the sport!
The #Olympics are just kind of magical. I guess back to 4 more years of never thinking about hockey.
Solid-state lidar. Excellent. All these car companies that didn’t abandon the tech are about to reap the awards with cheaper parts. #lidar #engineering

I don’t understand why #Apple live translation doesn’t work on #iPadOS or #macOS. So dumb.

I can’t find corn tortillas in #Hawaii without guar gum. My wife swears they taste wrong, so she is thinking about making them from scratch now… so good? 😂

And finally, #SMTP. Looking at the Top 1M Domains' MX records, over 52% are IPv4-only; 45% fully dual-stack, and another 2% or so having at least one MX record with an IPv6 address.
But there are also large MX service providers who have IPv6 addresses on some MX records *and then don't accept traffic on those IPv6 addresses*, and large mail service providers like Yahoo, GoDaddy, and Namecheap (to name just a few) are completely IPv4-only.
I think I almost have this timeline nonsense fully working. I'm 95% there. The last 5% is going to be annoying.
Fixed so many problems today and created some new ones. Timeline positioning is a very annoying problem but needs to be perfect; otherwise, the app feels like 💩.
Getting gestures just right is painful.
I can tell some key features I want are going to be a pain to implement.
I should try to live toot as I work now that I spilled the beans.
I just gated premium features and didn’t finish so I can’t post from it now. Also it still doesn’t have a name. 😑
Speaking of AI. We're in a tight spot. "We", as in tech workers, I mean.
A bunch of things are true and they all pull in different directions.
- It works. I'm not really willing to entertain the argument that it doesn't, anymore, after having built several large and small projects with it. For coding, it is a lever that can provide a dramatic productivity increase. I'm comfortable saying 3x+, overall. Maximalists are saying 10x or 100x. Even if it's only 3x, that's industry shaking.
