Installed 0.22.0-rc2 of #GotoSocial and added like 8 relays that are supposedly open. So far just one has accepted my connection. 😕 I wonder how many I should subscribe to so my server feels less isolated.

All of these can be interpreted from the Photos.app in an #iPhone. No need for guessing. #iOS has some cool #ML built in. It isn’t just highlighting text in a picture or inline translations.

Was thrilled to see an unused #EV charger while going to lunch… of course it was not working. What a fool I was thinking a functional EV charger wouldn’t have a 10 year old Nissan Leaf connected. #Hawaii

Scanning the QR code gives an error about the charger not being registered with the property owner yet. 😮‍💨

#brew for #macOS and #Linux has a new release (6.0.0) on their website and there is a pretty lively discussion on the orange site. I'm annoyed it is asking me if "I'm sure" when I run "brew upgrade". Need to find a way to turn that off.

Almost 11pm and I just finished several tacos from Jack in the Box. No regrets. Yet.

Finally able to play with on device #Siri and it’s actually very good. Weirdly it isn’t as slow as the presentations for #wwdc. My iPhone Air gets noticeably warm though.

#brew is working normally on #macOS Golden Gate now. No need for weird hacks to update or install packages.

I’m “accidentally turned on phone’s camera flash light” years old if anyone was wondering. At least once a week. 💀

It’s amazing how good this #iOS 27 beta is. It’s more stable and clean looking… and fewer bugs than iOS 26.5.1 that I installed just 9 days ago.

Also new #Xcode is a delight. 😊

Pretty interesting paper about the value of AGENTS.md files. Turns out that they pretty much don't help at all and might reduce the overall "success rate". Will need to read more closely. It doesn't seem correct... on the other hand it does show that human written AGENTS.md files are better than agent written ones... so hmm. 🤔

Disagree here. As someone that started off with a brick Nokia where sms didn't even work outside our own carrier network and internet on cellphone was literally dialup that burned limited mins.

I eventually had a #Blackberry, #Palm, #Treo (Handspring), Sidekick, (whatever #Nokia called their OS), Ericsson, (I was getting a new phone every year)… the #iPhone blew them all away. I was stubborn and a bigtime Apple hater but when the iPhone 3G launched I gave in and never switched away since.
