Should somebody feel bad if they buy something on craigslist / eBay, for the price the person is asking, and the item turns out to be a lot more valuable?

I'm going to be looking at a set of two violins, each alone being quite a bit less than other listings. Cool, cool. But they're antique and...the price I'm paying is well below the price for antique.

@north as one that sells on #eBay myself… no. My safety is I do auctions only and reject offers. So far always end up with more money. The market knows.

This is likely a seller that just wants to keep inventory moving from storage unit or estate sales. They need consistent cash flow.
