A madman with a machine gun burst into our office last week.
We were in the middle of a staff training day.
Now we were hostages.
Everybody was terrified.
Not me. I was deeply calm.
Because I orchestrated the whole thing.
6 months ago at our last training day, John accidentally messaged in the public slack something meant for a colleague.
"This is so boring, if a man with a machine gun came in I'd be relievedỊ
Well, fast forward to now.
John was scared sh*tless, begging for his life.
Normal life not so boring now huh?
Learn to appreciate the days you don't have a madman waving a gun in your face.
The actor I hired for the role was brilliant; you can catch him in a one-man musical version of Apocalypse Now off-Broadway.
