jump to repliesI honestly think Content Warnings on the #Fediverse are overused to the point that they’re useless. People will put their Docker setup or a recipe behind a Content Warning for some reason. I’ve configured my client to ignore those warnings and always show posts. But every once in a while, my #Phanpy cookies are lost and my settings reset… and I’m reminded how useless CWs are. #ContentWarnings

@bryan I almost posted a rant on CW requests making a comeback on Mastedon. Decided against it because that is Mastodon.
@venitamathias I decided to not worry about people getting mad at me.
I don’t have enough followers anyway so few see the posts. 😂
@bryan There was a post suggesting consequences that you will not be followed, and your posts will not be shared for not using CW on posts I guess they consider triggering. Seriously?
