Just had an upper endoscopy. Dr says it all looks fine. Just normal levels of inflammation. They took tissue samples (biopsies) to check for cancers etc. overall was pretty quick and painless procedure. Nothing to worry about if your doctor wants you to do.
@bryan now the biopsy results got back and I have pre-cancerous cells. 😑
Need to take a new medicine, wait 3 years, and recheck esophagus. Living can be so laborious.
Doctor says very unlikely to actually develop into cancer but shouldn’t skip taking precautions (the new medicine). I’m just so annoyed right now.

@bryan ah, that sucks. So much stress. I hope everything works out.
@swelljoe it will be fine. I’m always good about going to the doctor and taking meds. I’m a good patient. My body is definitely a jalopy.
