@ivory was not able to vote in this poll in Ivory. I got an error about not finding post. I think it is because the original was edited so was trying to vote in the wrong post (that didn’t exist?). worked fine with Phanpy.

@bryan Did you return to the timeline and then back into the post detail? Whenever you go to the post detail view, it should fetch the latest version of the post.
@ivory yeah I saw the updated poll but couldn’t vote still.
@ivory BTW I thought maybe it was a gotosocial issue that’s why I tried with phanpy. It immediately worked so either phanpy is magically able to work around problems with gotosocial or something isn’t working with Ivory. I should have tried ice cubes… :-/
@bryan Either way it seems like a very rare issue as you are the first to have reported something like this. If it happens more frequently or if we run into it ourselves, we will look into it further. But there are lots of weird quirks with ActivityPub and unless it's a recurring issue, we can't bother looking into all of them.
