What’s everyone’s personal preference on messaging retention? For the longest time I was “keep all messages forever”. I just switched to delete after 30 days.
EDIT: to clarify I mean iMessage, WhatsApp, Signal, etc (I don’t know what the RCS app on Android is).
@bryan It’s not a ‘legal hold’ but self-protection in case someone denies. Also, key information stays in there until I use it —e2e encryption. I delete the non-essential convos typically every week.
