Thinking about one of my last pre-Smartphone mobile phones. The #Nokia 6288. It was the pinnacle of devices for SMS as texting really took off. In candybar mode (folded up), you did T9. But it opened to a full QWERTY keyboard. The phone also did pre-3G internet (dial up speeds) over Bluetooth.

It was the only time I had a phone stolen from me. I was at a restaurant, and I had it resting on the table. At some point during the meal, it vanished.

@daj that’s amazing! Does it even work? I’m guessing no. I had a Nokia 5190 and I couldn’t get any connectivity with AT&T even with a new SIM. They are just too old.
