Just 1¢ shy of $100k before tax? Wow 😮

The design reminds me of the #Apple Mac Pro. But this is purely #Linux at the moment.

Visiting parents and was watching “The Pitt” with my mom. Dad wanted something with more bite. We watched two episodes of Chernobyl and will finish tomorrow.

Very horrifying. But still enjoyable nonetheless. 🫣

Had some amazing Chinese
Food tonight in LA area and when I used restroom I saw a sign that proved it was the real deal.

Also cool of them to tolerate my rough Chinese. I do think their translation is wrong. 吐 is vomit or spit but the picture is clearly vomit.

Cartoon of a man vomiting on the floor with this message:
请吐在垃圾桶否则会收取清洁费
Please spit in the trash, or you'll be charged a cleaning fee.

Everyone should own a paper shredder. Besides helping with your privacy… feels so good to shred paper. Mmmmm

Forgot to share a #Ross find from last week. Just incredible off-the-wall product ideas being sold… anyway, a #Santoku #Knife set from Paris Hilton. There were like 3-4 different sets with different knives. Passed.

Paris Hilton Santoku Knife set. Two gold colored knives in a package. $9.99 if I remember correctly.

This vegetable is called, believe it or not, "snake gourd"

Photo of a snake gourd- it's a long skinny green vegetable with bright white racing stripes down the sides, and this one got curled up while growing so it does look like a snake coiled up and holding its head up. It's sitting on a person's hand, with the farm in the background.

Pretty nice writeup of tracking down a #linux kernel bug that caused #ripgrep to rarely segfault.

I have never been yelled at harder for a correct take than the time I said that Burning Man and The Gathering of the Juggalos are effectively the same event but serving groups from different classes.
