#WatchOS 27 beta thinks my restroom sink is LOUD when I wash my hands. I thought they fixed this before? Regression?

My wife got talked into trying some #durian. We each had a piece, and it’s actually good. But damn, it smells like farts and gasoline to me. Once you’re actually chewing it, the smell goes away, but as soon as you’re done, it comes right back.

I’d describe the experience as having a great dessert at an outdoor café, except every now and then a gust from an open sewer blows through. You can’t help but wonder why they don’t just move somewhere else.

Now starting to worry that I won’t be able to smell it but I’ll walk around town and people will think I have 💩 in my pants or something. #Hawaii

I honestly think Content Warnings on the #Fediverse are overused to the point that they’re useless. People will put their Docker setup or a recipe behind a Content Warning for some reason. I’ve configured my client to ignore those warnings and always show posts. But every once in a while, my #Phanpy cookies are lost and my settings reset… and I’m reminded how useless CWs are. #ContentWarnings

Now kicking myself for not ordering a #Mac Studio Ultra last week. I could have just cancelled if I changed my mind between now and OCTOBER when it was expected to ship… 🤦🏼‍♂️.

I think beta2 of #macOS Golden Gate might have some kind of problem with appstoreagent. It’s just eating cpu with dasd and analyticsd.

Maybe indexing is just rebuilding again?

I think something very annoying about #mastodon is there isn’t a universal rich text format. I have better control of the look of text in #iMessage…

I guess it isn’t an easy thing to fix. Even declaring a bunch of html tags are ok would run into other limitations like post sizes being limit to 500 characters. It’s an endless onion of things that would need to get tweaked so I can make something <b>bold</b>?

The #Apple Mac Studio Ultra at 96GB is not available in a reasonable timeframe. If ordered today in June…will not get until October. The demand is still unreal. Very irritating.

I’ve not seen this happen on any other app in the beta. (probably not their fault but I find it amusing)

seems #gotosocial 0.22.0-rc3 is working really well with relays. one thing I'm seeing is restarting my server and being down for 30-60 seconds will cause some relays to put you in a 'stale' state. a new finicky thing to deal with I guess.
