As road/street humps and bumps go, I’d prefer only humps. Some of the bumps in #Hawaii are so harsh that I want to move out of my building just to prevent future suspension problems.

Ingress nginx for #Kubernetes is being retired. Got its own little blog article… never used it once since I started using Kubernetes as far back as v0.8 (going off memory of the version that warned you not to use it when you installed it). I thought everyone used Traefik? Pre-Traefik it was NodePort and a Netscaler in front.

Was going to buy a battery for my #AppleWatch to swap myself, but I can’t find a vendor that will send a battery to #Hawaii. I guess for something so small, they just stuff an envelope, and USPS isn’t doing batteries in Hawaii or Alaska. Bummer.

From a dare, I did a #Cybertruck test drive in #Portland. My wife didn’t think I’d go through with it, so she said she’d come along. On the test drive, she’d duck underneath the door so no one would see her. I had so many glares. So many looking at me in contempt. A couple of fingers.

If it’s not clear, I didn’t buy one. They offered my wife a turn to do a drive, and she refused. 😂

Just used a waterless urinal for the first time in years and they are still disgusting as anyone can imagine. 🤢

Noticed ssh was taking a long time to connect to a remote #Debian13 machine... checked dmesg and many errors.

Anyway seeing a core file in / I found that #systemd blew itself up. systemctl wasn't working enough to start/stop anything. Also couldn't cleanly reboot. I reboot -f and it is back to normal.

systemd dying on its own is lame. #linux #Debian

to my ~/.vimrc on #Debian 13.

Actually I think probably best to add it as a system default… sigh. 😮‍💨
